Rollins To Face Stiff Test Saturday.

 The Rollins College Tars will be at home Saturday when they take on the #12 ranked Barry Buccaneers inside Warden Arena. That may be the only thing in the Tars favor in this one. Rollins 5-4 (0-3 SSC) is still looking to get in the win column for the first time in conference play. It would take quite the effort, but it has been done before. Last time out the Tars were a 92-77 loser against Florida Tech at home on Saturday. Rollins was led by Hutton Yenor with 25, Dayton Gumm had 17, and Brooks Cluxton added 14. The Tars shot 43 percent as a team, 31 percent (11-36) from the 3-point line, and 62 percent (8-13) from the free throw line. They lost the rebounding battle 39-34. The Tars come into the game averaging 83.1 points per game, while defensively they allow 81 points per contest. They are shooting 49 percent from the field and 39 percent from the 3-point line on the season, as well as 80 percent at the free throw line. They are being out rebounding by 0.7 (37.0-37.7) rebounds per night. Kyle Marion paces the team in scoring at 19.6 points per game. He also dishes out a team leading 3.6 assists per contest. Marion shoots 57 percent from the field, and 44 percent from the 3-point line. Yenor puts up 17.6 points per game as well. Brooks Cluxton leads the team on the backboards grabbing 7.8 rebounds per night. 

#12 Barry (7-0 2-0 SSC) is coming off a 83-77 win at home over Lynn on Wednesday. Jake Kakar led five Buccanners in double figures with 18 points,  Michael Schaeffer added 16, James Montgomery contributed 13, Nick Anderson netted 12, and Landon Kirkwood added 11. Schaeffer also added 11 rebounds to lead the team while Kakar and Toru Dean pace Barry dishing out four assists. BU shot 41 percent from the field, 35 percent (8-23) from the 3-point line, and 68 percent (19-28) from the free throw line. The Bucs won the rebounding battle 44-42. They average 95 points per game as a team, while they allow 80.6 per night. 

Schaeffer leads the season box score putting up 16.3 points per game to go with a team leading 7.1 rebounds per night. Anderson (16 points per game,) and Kakar (14.6 per night) are not far behind.
