Tars Battle #18 ERAU In Key SSC Matchup.

 The Rollins Tars (5-2 0-1 SSC) battle the Eagles of Embry-Riddle today at Warden Arena inside the Alfond Sports Center. Tip time is set for 7:30 PM. You can catch all the action on 91.5 FM WPRK Winter Park and worldwide on RollinsSports.com with Robert Segal and Jim "Shooter" Ferro. 

Rollins won two of three games last week. They defeated Warner 87-80 Monday, before losing 94-89 to Southeastern on Tuesday, Wednesday they were a 86-75 winner over Puerto Rico Bayamon. 

 The Tars come into the contest averaging 84.7 points per game, while they allow 78.1 points per contest. They are shooting 50 percent as a team, they also shoot 40 percent from the 3-point line, and 82 percent from the free throw line. They are being out rebounded by 1.2 rebounds per game (37.4-38.6.) They are averaging 19.3 assists per game, getting eight steals per night, and 2.1 blocks per contest. 

 Kyle Marion leads the season box score putting up 19.4 points per game, Hutton Yenor is netting 16 points per contest, while Dayton Gumm is scoring 10 points per night. Brooks Cluxton leads the team on the boards averaging 7.7 per night, while Marion leads the team with four assists per night. 

#18 ERAU (7-1 0-0 SSC) is coming off a 85-64 win over Florida National Saturday. Nikola Jerotic led the Eagles with 19 points, Romeo Crouch scored 17, and David Park added 15. They shot 53 percent from the field, 44 percent (10-23)  from the 3-point line, and 47 percent (9-19) at the free throw line. 

 ERAU is paced by Crouch who is putting up 17.9 points per game, while Elijah Jenkins is getting 17.3 per night, Jon Allesandro also averages double figures at 13.2 per contest. Allesandro leads the team in rebounding at 9.3 per night. Crouch is leading the team in assists at 5.5 per contest.

 The Rollins College Tars went down to Miami Shores and picked up their first conference win of the season as they knocked off Barry 86-79. With the win Rollins improves to 4-4 and 1-2 in the SSC. Tars Set To Battle Eckerd Wednesday.

 The Rollins College Tars return home to face the Eckerd College Tritons on Wednesday at Warden Arena. Marion, Silveira, Barnhizer combine for 51 in Road Loss To Florida Tech.

 Rollins College got a combined 51 points from the trio of Matheus Silveira, Kyle Marion, and Braxton Barnhizer but it was not nearly enough in a 96-73 road loss to Florida Tech at the Charles & Ruth Clemente Center. With the loss Rollins drops to 3-3 (0-1 SSC.) The Panthers improve to a perfect 6-0 on the season.   Barnhizer hit a pair of 3-pointer's in the games first 1:47 and the Tars led 6-1. Chase Thompson and Rashaan Edwards hit triples of their own to put the Panthers up 7-6. Barnhizer's third straight triple gave Rollins a 9-7 lead at the 16:55 mark of the first half. The lead was short-lived as a 3-pointer and a layup by Thompson put FIT ahead by a score of 12-9. Silveira and McCullough traded dunks before a Silveira jumper trimmed the Panthers lead to one (14-13) five minutes into this one.
