Rollins Heads To Miami Shores For Road Test Saturday.

 The Rollins College Tars (12-10 7-7 SSC) head to Miami Shores,Fla. to battle the 22nd ranked Barry Buccaneers (14-4 9-4 SSC) at the Barry Sport and Health Center.  Rollins saw their five game win streak snapped on Wednesday night at home as they were dumped by Florida Southern 81-77 at Warden Arena. Hutton Yenor paced the Tars with 27 points, Kyle Marion added 19, and Brooks Cluxton tallied 15 points and a game high 18 rebounds. Rollins shot 45 percent from the field, 43 percent (9-21) from the 3-point line, and 70 percent (16-23) at the free throw line. The Tars had 20 assists  and 15 turnovers in the contest. As a team Rollins has the seventh best offense in the SSC putting up 79.8 points per game while on the defensive end they give up an SSC eighth best 79.4 points per night. They are second in the SSC shooting at a 48 percent clip from the field, are fourth in the conference shooting 37 percent from the 3-point line and shoot free throws at an SSC second best 76 percent. On the glass the Tars are 10th in the conference being out-rebounded by 3.1 (34.9-38.0) boards per game. Yenor leads the team and is fourth in the conference putting up 20 points per game, Marion is eighth in the SSC getting 18 points per night, while Cluxton nets 11.9 points per game and averages an SSC second best and team leading 10.3 rebounds per game. Cluxton also leads the SSC in field goal percentage, shooting at a 66 percent clip from the field on the year. Dayton Gumm leads the Tars and is ninth in the conference dishing out 4.1 assists per night. In the first meeting with Barry, an upset win for the Tars on 12/11 Yenor had 25, Cluxton added 20, Sergey Grishaev added 18, and Marion netted 17. The Tars shot 55 percent from the field, 44 percent (12-27) from the 3-point line, and 71 percent (12-17) at the free throw line in the contest. 

 Barry is coming off a 97-87 loss to #2 Nova Southeastern last time out. Amari Haynes led the Buccaneers with 15 points, Landon Kirkwood added 13, and Marcelo Perez chipped in 10. The Bucs shot 47 percent from the field, 32 percent (8-25) from the 3-point line, and 64 percent (7-11) from the free throw line in the game. Barry is second in the SSC on the offensive end scoring 94.1 points per game while defensively they allow 83.2 points per night which is last in the SSC. They shoot an SSC third best 48 percent from the field and are leading the conference shooting 42 percent from the 3-point line. The bus are seventh in the conference shooting 70 percent at the free throw line. On the glass Barry is third in the conference out-rebounding the opposition by five (41.4-31.4) boards per contest. Jake Kakkar leads Barry in scoring at 14.6 points per game, Nick Anderson gets 14.3 per contest, Michael Schaefer scores 13.7 per game. Toru Dean leads the team in assists at three per game, and Just Marcinkevius leads the team on the glass getting eight boards per contest. In the first meeting with Rollins back in December Kakaar had 20, Anderson netted 15, Schaefer had 13, and Perez tallied 11. The Bucs shot 51 percent from the field, 47 percent (18-38) from the 3-point line, and 40 percent (4-10) at the free throw line in the defeat.
