Rollins Stays Home To Face Lynn.

 The Rollins College Tars (6-8 3-4 SSC) will stay home to battle the Lynn University Fighting Knights (3-10 1-7 SSC) at Warden Arena inside the Alfond Sports Center. You can catch all the action on 91.5 FM WPRK Winter Park and on the Sunshine State Digital network at SunshineStateConference.TV 

 Rollins is coming off a 71-66 win at Tampa on Saturday. The Tars are just 2-4 at home this season. Hutton Yenor returned from injury and led five Rollins players in double figures in the victory. Cade Long netted 13, John Latimer added 12, while both Matheus Silveira and Cody Potter tallied 11. Rollins shot 41.1 percent from the field, 36.4 percent (8-22) from the 3-point line and 81 percent (17-21) at the free throw line in the road win. The Tars score 75.9 points per game which is ninth in the SSC while defensively they give up an SSC seventh best 79.4 points per night. They are fifth in the conference shooting 46.5 percent from the field while they are eighth defensively holding the opposition to 45.7 percent shooting from the floor. The Tars continue to be the top 3-point shooting team in the SSC shooting 41.7 percent from the 3-point line while defensively they are 10th as the opposition is shooting 39.5 percent from 3-point land. The Tars are shooting an SSC third best 75 percent from the free throw line as well. On the glass the Tars are 10th being out rebounded by 1.4 (33.6-34.9) rebounds per night. 

 Yenor leads the team and is sixth in the conference scoring 18.3 points per game. He also leads the squad in rebounds  (4.8 per contest) and Kyle Marion leads the team in assists (3.7 per night.) Marion scores 13 points per game and Silveira tallies 10 points per contest. 

 The Fighting Knights are 0-4 on the road this season and are coming off a 100-89 loss to Saint Leo last time out. Jimel Lane poured in 34 points to lead Lynn, Nordin Kapic added 14, JP Baron scored 11, and Rickey Ballard tallied 10. The Fighting Knights shot 54.7 percent from the field, 32 percent (8-25) from the 3-point line and 73.3 percent (11-15) from the free throw line in the loss. 

 Lynn scores 74.8 points per game and allows 83.6 points per night which are 10th and 11th in the SSC respectively. They shoot 45.6 percent which is seventh in the conference and are at the bottom of the league in 3-point shooting (39.8 percent.) At the free throw line they are also the bottom team in the conference shooting 68.5 percent from the charity stripe. They are the worst team in the conference on the glass as well being out rebounded by 2.2 (33.8-36) rebounds per night. 

 Kapic leads the team in rebounding 9.8 per game to go with 17.2 points per game. Lane also averages in double figures at 19.1 per contest. Jalen Gilmore leads the team in assists with 49 in 13 games.
