Tars Set For Non Conference Matchup With Warner Friday night.

Rollins is coming off back to back overtime games. They were on the short end 111-106 against Florida Southern Saturday and then came away with a 98-95 win at Saint Leo on Wednesday night. Four players scored in double figures in the overtime thriller over the Lions paced by 27 points from Hutton Yenor. Sergey Grisahev added 21, Kyle Marion notched 19, and Cade Long tallied 12. The Tars shot a sizzling 64.2 percent from the floor and 55 percent (11-20) from the 3-point line. They also shot 79.2 percent (19-24) from the free throw line.
Rollins is sixth in the Sunshine State Conference in scoring putting up 79.3 points per game while on the defensive end they are ninth in the conference giving up 81.8 points per contest. They shoot an SSC third best 48.7 percent from the floor while defensively the opposition shoots 45.4 percent which is eighth in the SSC. Rollins continues to be the top 3-point shooting team in the conference (41.7 percent) and are on the other end of the spectrum allowing the opposition to shoot 39.7 percent which puts them 11th in the conference defending the 3-point line. Rollins shoots 75.2 percent from the free throw line which is good for fifth in the conference and are ninth on the glass being out rebounded by 1.4 (33.8-35.1) boards per night.
Yenor leads the team and is fifth in the SSC scoring 19.1 points per game, Kyle Marion puts up 14.3 points per contest and Matheus Silveira rounds out the double digit scorers at 10.7 per game. Yenor also leads the Tars in Rebounds (4.9 per night,) field goal percentage (49.7 percent which is good for 10th in the SSC) and he is tied for the conference lead in steals at 2.5 per contest. Yenor is also sixth in the MEC in minutes played at 32.7. Marion leads the team and is sixth in the SSC dishing out 4.1 assists per contest. Silveira leads the team in blocked shots at 0.8 per game.
Warner is coming off a nine point loss (86-77) to Webber International last time out. In the loss to Weber International Joseph Martz and Christian Nurse paced the Royals with 19 points each. Nurse also added 12 rebounds. Logan West also scored in double figures with 14. The Royals shot 50 percent from the floor, 42.9 percent (9-21) from the 3-point line and 56.3 percent (18-32) from the free throw line. West leads the Royals in scoring at 17 points per game, Martz puts up 13.1 per night, Blaize Darling adds 11.1 per contest and Nurse scores 9.6 per night.
