Rollins Takes On PBA At Home Which Is Also Senior Day In Winter Park.

 The Rollins College Tars (14-13 10-9 SSC) take on the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish (13-12 9-10 SSC) at Warden Arena inside the Alfond Sports Center. Tip time is slated for 4 PM and as always you can catch all the action on SunshineStateConference.TV with Jim "Shooter" Ferro and Robert Segal on the call. In addition Saturday will be senior day. The senior class will be honored prior to the contest. 

 Rollins scores 79.8 points per game which is sixth in the Sunshine State Conference. On the defensive end the Tars are ninth as they give up 81 points per night. Rollins is third in field goal percentage shooting at a 48.2 percent clip from the floor while the opposition shoots 44.8 percent which puts them sixth in the conference on the defensive end. Rollins shoots 37.6 percent from the 3-point line which is fourth in the SSC. The opposition shoots 38.1 percent from 3-point land which places Rollins 10th on the defensive end. At the free throw line the Tars shoot 76.5 percent which is fourth from the charity stripe in the league. On the glass Rollins is ninth as they are being out-rebounded by 0.3 (35.3-35.6) boards per contest. 

 Yenor leads the season box score as he puts up an SSC fourth best 19.7 points per contest. The Timber Creek native also leads the team in rebounding with 5.6 rebounds per contest. Yenor shoots 49 percent from the floor which is just outside the top 10 in that department. He also shoots 37 percent from the 3-point line Yenor is second in the conference in steals at 2.4 per game and is also eighth in the conference in assists at 3.4 per game. In addition the graduate student is sixth in minutes played in the SSC at 33.6 per contest. Kyle Marion and Matheus Silveira also average in double figures with 13.4 points per game and 12.6 points per game respectively. Marion also leads the team in assists with an SSC fourth best 4.1 per night. 

 In the first meeting with the Sailfish back in November Rollins was a 93-89 loser. Yenor and Marion each had 21. Marion also added nine rebounds and six assists while John Latimer came off the bench to tally 15. 

 PBA should come into Saturday's game well rested as they have not played since losing 83-57 to Barry last Saturday. Jalen Cooper had 25 and Will Lee added 10 in the defeat. 

 In the win over the Tars back in November Bryce Asked drained seven 3-pointer's on his way to 31 points for the Sailfish. Lee had 17, Cooper had 16, and Marcus Montavalo tallied 11. PBA shot 54 percent from the field and 46 percent from the 3-point line in the contest. 

 The Sailfish put up 75.5 points per game which is ninth in the SSC while they give up an SSC fourth best 75.6 per night. They shoot an SSC sixth best 45.1 percent from the field and the opposition shoots 45.2 percent which is seventh in the conference. The Sailfish are also seventh in 3-point shooting as they shoot at a 34.7 percent clip. They are third best at guarding the 3-point line as the opposition shoots 32.9 percent. They are an SSC fifth best shooting 75.5 percent from the free throw line. PBA is fifth on the glass as they get 0.8 (36.6-35.8) rebounds per night. 

 Cooper leads five PBA players in double figures putting up 16.3 points per game. Lee scores 15.9 per night, Jakob Hester scores 14.6 per game, Montavalo gets 10.9 per contest and Laskey rounds out the double digit scorers at 10 per contest. Cooper leads the team grabbing 8.5 rebounds per night which is fourth in the SSC. Lee leads the team and is fifth in the SSC dishing out 3.9 assists per contest. Cooper is also third in the SSC in blocked shots swatting 1.4 per game.
