Tars Continue Home Stand With Mayaguez.

 The Rollins College Tars (1-2) continue the teams current five game home stand when they take on Puerto Rico Mayaguez this evening (Monday.)  The Tars (1-2) are coming off a 67-61 win over Warner last time out. Matheus Sllveira led three Tars in double figures with 19 points. Kyle Marion netted 16 points and Cody Potter chipped in 10. For the season is averaging 67.7 points per game while they give up 68.7 points per night. Rollins shoots 43 percent from the floor while struggling at the 3-point line where they are shooting at a 26.8 percent clip. They have been solid at the free throw line where they shoot at a 78.9 percent clip. The opposition is getting 37.3 rebounds per game as opposed to the Tars who grab 33.7 boards per contest. Kyle Marion leads three Rollins players in double figures putting 16 points per game, Silveira tallies 15.3 per contest, and Potter chips in 11.3 per night. Potter grabs a team leading 7.7 rebounds per game while the Tars are led in assists by Marion with 16. 

 The Tarzans last played the Tars in the 2019-20 season where the Tars came away with a 81-53 win. The season before the Tars won 82-53 against the Tarzans. This is the Tarzan's first game of the 2023-24 season. The projected starting five for the Tarzans (with last years numbers are:)
