Tars Welcome Lincoln To Winter Park.

 The Rollins Tars welcome the Lincoln University (PA) Lions to Warden Arena inside the Alfond Sports Center on Wednesday night. The Tars come into this evening's contest with a 0-1 record while the Tigers come in with a 1-1 mark.  The Tars were a 65-63 loser in overtime in the opener. Despite being in control late the Tars could not hang on late in regulation and ultimately fell. Cody Potter paced the Tars with 11 points while Braxton Barnhizer also scored in double figures with 10. Rollins shot 40.7 percent from the field and a frigid 26.3 percent (5-19) from the 3-point line. They had 16 assists and 12 turnovers as a team. Rollins lost the rebounding battle 42-35. 

 Lincoln comes into Wednesday with a 1-1 record after splitting a pair of games in last week's CIAA/PSAC Challenge in Elizabeth City, New Jersey. In the opener the Lions fell to East Stroudsburg 81-74 before knocking off Kutztown 84-70 on Saturday night. Four players average double figures in the early season for the Lions. Peter Sorber is averaging a team leading 21.5 points to go with a team leading 12.5 rebounds on the season. Bakir Cleveland is putting up 18.5 points per game while Janaie Sinues-Coates is putting up 13.5 points per night and hauling in 7.5 rebounds per contest. Freddie Young Jr. rounds out the double digit scorers at 11.5 points per night as well as a team leading 4.5 assists per contest.
