Grishaev and Wolle Score In Double Figures As Tars Walloped By #2 NSU

 The Rollins College Tars got 20 points from Sergey Grishaev and 12 from Dylan Wolle but they were walloped 110-62 by #2 Nova Southeastern at Rick Case Arena. With the loss Rollins falls to 5-13 and 2-9 in the SSC. After the win NSU improves to 15-2 and 9-2 in the SSC. 

 After Shane Hunter scored a Wolle basket would tie the game at 2. The Sharks would go on a 10-0 run to take a 12-2 lead with 15:50 to go in the opening half. After a Grishav layup at the 13:17 mark of the half it was 18-11 in favor of the Sharks. Ryan Davis hit a 3-pointer with 7:47 until halftime and it was 35-16 NSU. They would lead by 30 (58-28) at halftime. Rollins shot 42.3 percent in the opening half, 18 percent (2-11) from the 3-point line and 80 percent (4-5) at the free throw line. The Sharks shot 44 percent in the opening stanza, 11-30 (36.7 percent) from the 3-point line and 60 percent (3-5) at the free throw line. 

 The lead grew to 38 (68-30) early in the second half. The largest lead for the Sharks was 49 as they cruised to the victory after halftime. NSU shot 44.3 percent in the contest, 34.7 percent (17-49) from the 3-point line, and 75 percent (15-20) at the free throw line. The Sharks had 27 assists and eight turnovers. They also won the rebounding battle 47-42. Eli Allen led six Sharks in double figures with 15 points, GianFranco Grafals had 14, Shane Hunter added 12, while the trio of Isaiah Fuller, MJ Iraldi and Trey Doomes all had 10. 

Rollins was led by Grishaev with 20, Wolle had 12, and Cade Long added nine. Rollins shot 38 percent from the floor, 19 percent (5-26) from the 3-point line and 90 percent (9-10) at the free throw line. They had 14 assists and 29 turnovers in the contest. 

Rollins will be back in action Tuesday when they take on Florida Tech at Warden Arena. Tip time is set for 6 PM.
