Cade Long, Matheus Silveira, and Kyle Marion combined to score 63 points and powered the Rollins College Tars to a 83-80 win over the Eckerd College Tritons at Warden Arena on Saturday. With the win Rollins improves to 8-14 and 5-10 in the SSC. Eckerd falls to 12-11 and 7-8 in the SSC after the loss.

The trio of Long, Silveira, and Marion got things going for Rollins early. Silveria and Marion each made a basket before a Long 3-pointer gave the Tars a 7-0 lead 1:27 into this one. Rollins had a 12-3 lead before Isaiah Placide hit a pair of triples and Carr Thiam pulled the Tritons within one (12-11) at the 15:28 mark of the first half. Sergey Grishaev would go on a personal 5-0 run to stretch the Rollins lead to six. After Thiam hit a 3-ball it was 19-17 Rollins. Marion hit a jumper at the 12:48 mark of the half and then both teams went ice cold. The next basket would be a Placide 3-pointer at the 10:26 mark of the first half. Another Eckerd three this time by Will Willard would give them a two point lead. Rollins would break a 4:46 second scoring droughts on a Jaden Frazier hoop that knotted the game at 23 with 8:02 left in the first half. A jumper by Timothy Thomas put Eckerd up but a Dylan Wolle 3-pointer would give Rollins the lead right back. The Tritons would score the next four to lead 29-26. Rollins would score the next nine points to go up 35-29 with 4:55 until halftime after a Silveira basket. The next five points would go to the Tritons before Rollins closed the half with the final three points to take a 38-34 halftime lead.

Kimble tied it with a jumper 18 seconds later. After being fouled Silveira calmly sank two free throws with 45 ticks remaining.
