Scouting The Tars: Rollins will look a lot different than they did a season ago both on the hardwood and on the sidelines. Long time Rollins College coach Tom Klusman is dealing with chronic back problems and will take a leave of absence from the program. Former Rollins player Kevin Hogan who has coaching experience at DI schools such as Florida A&M, Austin Peay, and William &Mary will take over as the interim head coach. Rollins will have some firepower to replace from last season. The Tars will have some firepower from last season to replace as who was second on the team in scoring 14.9 points per game and was top 10 in the SSC in assists has departed along with top 3-point shooter Cody Potter (40.5 percent from long range,) and Cade Long who was a key contributor a year ago. Top returning scorer and rebounder  Matheus Silveria (17.6 points per night) and 6.2 rebounds per contest returns along with another double digit scorer in Sergey Grishaev (12.8 points) and 6.1 rebounds per night. Braxton Barnhizer also is back after starting 21 of 27 games last season. Dylan Wolle and Jon Latimer also return after gaining some valuable experience last year. Some new faces will also be mixed in with "Jet" Wells and Cheo James highlighting that group along with Flagler transfer Omar Figueroa. Rollins will look to avenge a 65-63 overtime loss to Spring Hill from last season.

Scouting the Badgers: Spring Hill (Alabama) was 14-13 last season which was the first time since 2018 the squad had won more than 10 games. The Badgers will look to replace last year's leading scorer and assist guy in Isaiah Veal. Jaden Emory is a guy to look at to fill that void. A pair of newcomers who could have an impact right away are Rocco Ramuno who is a left handed guard who is long and lanky along with Jordan Frankin who is a pain in everyone's butt defensively," mentioned Badgers coach Craig Kennedy in a Q and A prior to the season. "Bo Barber, Walter Peggs Jr., Steven Lyles, and Timothy Reilly are a solid four right there. Collin Coates and and Jayden Webley are on every team's scouting report."

They averaged 72.3 points per game while surrendering 78 points per night. The Pride were out rebounded by 4.5 boards per night as well. They also had trouble taking care of the ball turning it over more than 18 times per night. EWU did steal the ball 9.4 times per game and swat 3.5 shots per night. Mitchell Goliath who has departed since last season was the teams leading scorer and also led the squad in assists. Jeremiah Kwarteng was solid from long range shooting at a 34.6 percent clip, RJ Noord also returns as he led the team on the glass grabbing 4.3 boards per night. In a pair of exhibition contests the Pride defeated Daytona State College but fell against the University of South Florida.

Four players averaged double figures last year in David McCullough (16.1 points per game, Rashaan Edwards (14.3 points per night, ) Chase Thompson (12.5 points per game) and Niall Harris (12.1 points per night.) Harris led the team pulling down 7.8 rebounds per night while Edwards led the team with 137 assists.
