Road Warriors. Seventh Seeded Rollins Upsets Second Seeded Saint Leo In The SSC Quarterfinals on Tuesday Night!
As the old adage goes it is not easy to win basketball games in the post season whether it be at home or on the road. Somebody forgot to tell the Rollins College Tars. Rollins jumped out to a 13-4 lead early and never looked back as they upset Saint Leo 76-66 in the SSC Quarterfinals on Tuesday night. With the win Rollins improved to 15-14 on the season. More impressively the Tars are now 8-4 on the road this season, as they have now handed the Saint Leo Lions two of the teams four losses inside the Marion Bowman Activities Center. After the loss the Lions fall to 22-10 and await to hear if they made the NCAA South Region when the bracket is released on Sunday evening. The Tars may have bursted the Lions bubble in this one.
