Rollins Routs Florida Tech In Wire To Wire Win As Four Tars Score In Double Figures In 87-71 Win.

 Cade Long paced the Rollins Tars with a season high 21 points, Matheus. Silveria added 21 of his own, Sergey Grishaev continued his surge of late with 19, and Kyle Marion tallied 13 in a 87-71 win for the Rolins College Tars on Tuesday night at Warden Arena. With the win Rollins improves to 6-13 and 3-9 in the SSC. The Panthers fall to 12-6 and 5-6 in the SSC and stay winless in true road games on the season.   Rollins jumped out to a 8-0 lead in this one and never looked back. The Tars would go on a quick 5-0 spurt to open a 20-10 advantage on a Long jumper at the 10:20 mark of the first half. After back to back Long 3-pointer's the last being at the 7:45 mark of the first half Rollins led by `5 (29-14.) It was an 11 point lead (39-28) Rollins lead heading into the locker room. Grishaev and Wolle Score In Double Figures As Tars Walloped By #2 NSU

 The Rollins College Tars got 20 points from Sergey Grishaev and 12 from Dylan Wolle but they were walloped 110-62 by #2 Nova Southeastern at Rick Case Arena. With the loss Rollins falls to 5-13 and 2-9 in the SSC. After the win NSU improves to 15-2 and 9-2 in the SSC.   After Shane Hunter scored a Wolle basket would tie the game at 2. The Sharks would go on a 10-0 run to take a 12-2 lead with 15:50 to go in the opening half. After a Grishav layup at the 13:17 mark of the half it was 18-11 in favor of the Sharks.  The Rollins College Tars (5-12 2-8 SSC) fresh off a hard fought 88-85 loss to Florida Southern at home Wednesday night head to Fort Lauderdale to take on the second ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks (14-2 8-2 SSC) at Rick Case Arena.  The Rollins College Tars and Florida Southern Moccassins locked in a good one at Warden Arena inside the Alfond Sports Center Wednesday night. In a game that featured eight ties and 14 lead changes the the Mocs prevailed 88-85. With the win FSC improves to 14-5 and 8-2 in the SSC. Rollins falls to 5-12 and 2-8 in the SSC with the loss.  Rollins led 5-2 early as Dylan Wolle split a pair of free throws with 18:41 to go in the first half. Silveira Continues Scoring Binge In Loss To ERAU.

 The Rollins College Tars got another big night from Matheus Silveira as he scored 26 points on 11-15 shooting but it was not enough as they lost 91-74 to Embry-Riddle at the ICI center on Saturday. With the loss Rollins falls to 5-11 and 2-7 in the SSC. ERAU improves to 11-6 and 5-4 in the SSC with the win.   Silveira would score the games first four points for the road team. ERAU would battle back and take a 8-5 lead on a Malolm Whitlow 3-pointer with 16:18 in the first half. Silveira would pull Rollins within one on the ensuing possession. Rollins Takes Night Off As SSC Teams Jockey For Position.

Four Tally Double Figures In Tars Win Over UT

 Four players scored in double figures as the Rollins College Tars knocked off the University of Tampa Spartans 88-84 at Warden Arena on Saturday. Matheus Silveira paced Rollins with 25, both Kyle Marion and Sergey Grishaev added 16 and Dylan Wolle netted 12 to round out the double digit scorers. With the win Rollins improves to 5-10 and 2-6 in the SSC. Tampa was led by four players in double digits as well. Bryan Williams poured in a game high 27 points, Tyson Leitao added 12, while both Jesse White and Amari Davis tallied 10. With the loss Tampa falls to 5-10 and 1-6 in the SSC.   Rollins would jump out to a 9-3 lead early as Silveria went on a personal 6-0 run. Defending Champs Flex Muscles in Winter Park.

 The #3 Nova Southeastern Sharks are the defending Division II national champs and they made short work of the Rollins College Tars on Wednesday night in a 108-64 NSU win. With the win NSU improves to 12-1 and 6-1 in the SSC. Rollins drops to 4-10 and 1-6 in the SSC following the defeat.   NSU scored the games first five points before Matheus Silveira put Rollins on the board. It was 10-2 NSU when Kyle Marion knocked down a triple for the Tars. A 7-0 run capped by a 3-pointer by Rhyker Ciserik made it 17-5 NSU just under six minutes in. A Rollins 3-pointer by Sergey Grishaev made it a nine point game (25-16) with 9:22 in the first half. A 9-0 run capped by an Alex Mangold 3-ball stretched the NSU lead to 37-19 with 6:21 in the half. The lead grew to 22 (41-19) before Rollins ran off the next six points. With 1:45 left in the half the NSU lead was 14 (43-29) after a Silveira hoop. Potter Scores Career High As Four Score In Double Figures as Tars fall at Eckerd.

 Cody Potter knocked down six 3-pointer's on his way to a career high 23 points, Cade Long added 12, and both Matheus Silveira and Kyle Marion tallied 10 as the Rollins College Tars (4-9 1-5 SSC) fell 92-76 to the Eckerd College Tritons (8-6 3-3 SSC) at the McArthur Center in Saint Pete. Eckerd was led by Carr Thiam and Will Willard who netted 18 points each, Kent Garrard added 17, George Kimble scored 15, and Timothy Thompson posted 14 points and a game high 15 rebounds.   Eckerd jumped out to a 6-2 lead before Rollins went on a 9-0 run.  Matheus Silveira scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Cody Potter broke out of a season long shooting slump with five triples on his way to 16 points, Braxton Barnhizer added 13 points, six rebounds and four assists, while Dylan Wolle tallied double figures with 10 of his own as the Rollins College Tars (4-8 1-4 SSC) picked up their first SSC win of the season 77-75 and snapped a six game losing skid overall as they got a rare win in Miami against Barry (7-5 0-4 SSC) at the Barry Sport and Health Center.   The Buccaneers were led by James Montgomery with 17 points and 19 rebounds, Adren Roberts and Ga'Kahari Lacount each notched 16 while OT Delancy tallied 13 in the defeat.
